Polyp: Colony erect, monosiphonic or slightly polysiphonic. Hydrocaulus branched, brown and annulated at the base. Hydranth with shallow but distinct basal groove at the base, with 21-26 solid filiform tentacles in one whorl. Macro and microbasic euryteles present. Reproduction: Gonophores borne on entire hydranth; male one or two chambered; female with unbranched spadix curved over the egg. Ecology and Distribution: Epibiont of sponges. Present also in Bermuda Island. In Bocas del Toro collected in Punta Hospital and Swans Cay. Remarks: Only the female colony was observed, with blackish gastric cavity region.
