Habitat: Occurs throughout from sea level to 1,200m, in association with forest cover. Both sexes are extremely fast fliers and visit a wide variety of wild and garden flowers. Range: Troughtout southern United State, Central and South America, and the West Indies. Distribution: Bastimentos Island Characteristics: Sexes dimorphic. Male upperside entirely pure white, underside shiny. Famale two forms: oe similar to the male, only with black on FW apex; another has black margins and yellowish upperside of the HW discal area.
