Habitat: Present in rocky areas. They like to live in crevices. Often found attached to large shells. Distribution: This species has been reported from North Carolina to Texas and Brazil. Characteristics: Chama congregata can measure up to 1 inch in length. The valves show some fine spines. The shell is usually all gray, but with some reddish patches.
