Crossed the road from an open field to a dense forest. Once in the forest the boa was well camouflaged in the leaves covering the floor. When approached his head was up and his tongue was flickering but soon just headed back into the forest. He looked like he had more recently eaten prey because of his larger sized abdomen but it could have been from days prior.
