Habitat: Species was found on coral reefs, mangrove roots and artificial substrates. Distribution: Florida, Bermuda, many Caribbean islands, Venezuela, Guyanas, Suriname and Brazil. Depth: 0.5-6.0 m Characteristics: This species has a thick, slightly lumpy tunic with dark vertical stripes on the interior of the siphons. Oral siphons have 4 lobes each, with a bright orange line along the margin. Oral tentacles are simple. There are 4 branchial folds on each side. There are many gonads (48-70 on each side) embedded within the body wall tissue. Two endocarps are located within the intestinal loop.
