Habitat: The species appear to be the most common gnathostomulid around Bocas del Toro, and it was recorded at several localities. A single specimen was found in mud with Distribution: Caribbean: from Florida to Panama. Characteristics: The species is easily recognized by its long tail combined with the presence of a broad rostrum (preoral part of head).
