Habitat: Underside of rocks in less than 1 m of moderately protected water. Natural History Notes: Dyson's limpets appear very similar to immature Characteristics: The shell is ovate and conical, and reaches 15 mm. The exterior of the shell is white and has black radial rays of varying width. The truncated interior callus is white, and pigmentation from the exterior often can be seen faintly on the glossy white interior. The animal is yellowish white with brown speckles. The mantle is predominantly brown with purplish black bars. The posterior slope is straight or slightly convex. The keyhole is constricted anteriorly.
