Habitat: Common between coral rubble in shallow reefs, seagrass beds, and between sponges on mangrove roots. Distribution: Colombia, Pto. Rico and Belize. Characteristics: Ramose to lobate repent masses, mostly hollow, with tubular deformed projections. Round oscules (1-5 mm in diameter). Brown-yellowish to greenish externally and tan internally. Firm but fragile and brittle in consistency. Notes: This species was previously reported as Pachipellina podatypa by Hector Guzman and Carlos Guevara
