Distribution: Trinidad; Virgin Islands; Panama; Venezuela; Colombia; Belize; Puerto Rico. Characteristics: Colonies of Bimeria apper yellowish with polyps usually scarcely branched and with 10-20 tentacles each. The hydranth is covered by a perisarc that forms a sheath that covers part of the tentacles. Bimeria reproduces by fixed sporosac covered by gelatinous perisarc.
